He has been active in Tucson, his home for 25 years. Together, he and his wife, Trena,
raised three children. He was a social worker and taught at Pima Community College.
He served on the Arizona Supreme Court Foster Care Review Board and on the
Arizona Attorney General's Community Relations Mediation Board.
He was a member of the Tucson Black Chamber of Commerce and was
president of the Black Social Workers Association.

The Tucson Kitchen Musicians' Association
(TKMA) invites you to attend its
Spring Fundraiser, the proceeds of which will benefit the 22nd Annual Tucson
Folk Festival.  This year’s fundraiser will include a Singer-Songwriter
Circle, beginning at 1 p.m.  Expect to hear some of your favorite Tucson
artists: Larry Armstrong, Stefan George, Eric Hansen, Anne James, Lindianne
Sarno, Duncan Stitt, Shorty Stubbs, Michael Tanzillo, Kathleen Williamson,
and, perhaps a few surprises.  Rotating in and out of the circle, each
artist will perform two or three of their original songs, time permitting.
